BIOGRAPHYAssoc. Prof. Dr Ikhwan Sani Mohamad graduated in 2003 with Doctor in Medicine from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He joined USM in 2010 and graduated with Masters of Medicine (General Surgery). He worked as a General Surgeon after graduation and pursue with sub-specialty training and his interest in Hepatopancreatico Biliary Surgery (HBP) under fellowship Japanese Council for Medical Training (JCMT) at Toranamon Hospital (Japan)
RESEARCH INTERESTSHis fields of specialization are in general surgery, Hepatopancreatico Biliary Surgery, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreaticography (ERCP)& Spyglass Endoscopy .
He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching , research and already has great numbers of publications to his name. He has experience as Examiner for Conjoint Masters of Surgery since 2016, USM Undergraduate since 2013
