BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Izham Mohamad Yusoff is a Senior Lecturer at USM specializing in Geoinformatics and Physical Geography. His impactful research on 3D GIS, disaster modelling and geospatial innovation has advanced sustainable risk management. A prolific scholar and dedicated mentor, he actively leads interdisciplinary projects and publishes in top-tier journals, fostering global research collaborations in environmental and spatial sciences.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Izham’s research explores cutting-edge geospatial technologies for environmental and disaster risk management. His expertise spans 3D GIS, geospatial modelling, rainfall-runoff dynamics and landslide and flood risk assessment. He integrates innovative cartographic methods with community engagement to address climate, hydrological and geomorphological challenges; advancing sustainable development and resilience in vulnerable landscapes.
