BIOGRAPHY
Praveena Seevaunnamtum is an obsteric anaesthesiologist and senior clinical lecturer with almost 10 years' experience in Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. Being the only obstetric anaesthesiologist in the state of Kelantan, she subspecialises in managing perioperative care of high-risk pregnancies. With focus on women's health, her current research, teaching and community engagement focuses on safe and painless deliveries in USM.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
With wide range of interest, she enjoys most spending quality time with her family. This perspective has led to a deep appreciation of women's empowerment in a healthcare set up. Hence, she loves reading and writing about parenting and work life balance amongst health professionals in her free time.
