BIOGRAPHY
ChM. Dr. Muhammad Hakimin Shafie is a Senior Lecturer at Analytical Biochemistry Research Centre (ABrC), Universiti Sains Malaysia and certified chemist under Malaysian Institute of Chemistry. In 2018, Dr. Hakimin graduated from Bachelor of Science (Hons) Applied Chemistry at Universiti Teknologi MARA and completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Biochemistry in 2021 at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Hakimin is working with his research group on identification of antioxidative, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertension, anti-obesity and anti-hyperpigmentation of polysaccharide which addresses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3) – Good Health and well-being. Currently, Dr. Hakimin actively collaborate with the industries in formulation of skincare and nutraceutical products. He also welcomes for any collaborations and consultations.
