BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Rosnida Tajuddin is a Malaysian mycologist specializing in mycorrhizal fungi and macrofungi diversity. A Senior Lecturer at USM, she researches rainforest macrofungi, mycorrhizal networks, medicinal mushroom cultivation, and bioactive compounds. She promotes fungal conservation, integrates Indigenous knowledge, and serves as a consultant and national grant assessor.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focuses on mycorrhizal fungi ecology, macrofungi diversity, and their applications in forest ecosystems, agriculture, and biotechnology. She studies ectomycorrhiza, arbuscular mycorrhiza, and mycelial networks, documents Malaysian rainforest macrofungi, develops cultivation methods for edible and medicinal mushrooms, analyzes fungal bioactive compounds, and promotes fungi conservation through public outreach programs
