BIOGRAPHY
Dr Fadhli has been a senior lecturer at the School of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia since 2019. He supervised one Master's & two international PhD students and is completing a national FRGS grant amounting to RM177,200. He also teaches courses such as genetics, Plant Genetics, Horticultural Sciences, Plant Tissue Culture, biodiversity and ecology practical, Agricultural, forest and stored product pests, and scientific writing.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
His first research interest is strawberry plant tissue culture. It was extended during his MSc and PhD for diploid strawberry cv 5AF7 as a model for Rosaceae functional genomics. He expand his interest in "Coffee arabica" cv. Kahwa coffee & "Eurycoma longifolia" also known as "Tongkat Ali". He also developed an LED panel array to manipulate the photomorphogenesis in the mentioned plants.
