BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Siti Salmah binti Noordin is a medical lecturer in Transfusion Medicine. Her research focuses on immunohematology, clinical transfusion, patient blood management, transfusion microbiology, and blood donation. She is also involved in studies related to blood bank practices, blood product processing, and evaluation of materials used in transfusion services.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Her research focuses on red blood cell alloimmunization in multi-transfused patients, the role of intravenous iron therapy in optimizing patient blood management, and evaluating the quality, safety, and processing of blood products and transfusion materials to improve clinical outcomes and transfusion practices.
