BIOGRAPHY
A renowned translational neuroscientist in fundamental, applied and especially clinical neurosciences, graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986 from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), a Diplomate of Certification Specialization Neurosurgery from Ghent University, Belgium (1994), and a PhD (Magna Cum Laude) in the Biomedical Sciences (1995) from University of Ghent, Belgium.
