BIOGRAPHY
I am a lecturer and researcher in Malay and Bornean ethnic literature. My work focuses on oral traditions and cultural heritage. I also lead a mushroom project in Penang to empower rural communities through sustainable agriculture and community-based initiatives.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in exploring how literature reflects the cultural and intellectual identity of marginalized communities, particularly in Borneo. I am also drawn to sustainable community-based projects in agriculture and rural economy, as they allow me to bridge academic research with real-life impact, especially for farming communities and the B40 group.
