RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am particularly interested in the cultural dynamics and social structures of indigenous and migrant communities, specifically the Orang Asli Kuala, the Javanese community in Malaysia, and Indonesian migrant workers. My research explores the traditional belief systems, language use, local ecological knowledge, and cultural practices within and across these groups.
