BIOGRAPHYAng Leng Hong serves as a senior lecturer at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia in Penang. She teaches corpus linguistics and several undergraduate courses. Her research areas are rooted in corpus linguistics, phraseology, and vocabulary studies. Currently, she is focusing on a project that explores the phraseology used in academic writing. She also holds the position of associate editor for 3L journal (Scopus and ESCI indexed).
RESEARCH INTERESTSCorpus-based vocabulary and/or phraseology studies, academic writing, learner language research, Malaysian English.
