BIOGRAPHY
Dr Yam F.K, obtained his Ph.D. from USM in 2007. Presently, he is Assoc. Prof. in School of Physics, USM. He has authored and co-authored over 300 journal papers, 1 research book, 2 book chapters, 1 monograph and 4 review articles. Up to date, as main supervisor, he has produced 12 PhD, 7 M.Sc students. Currently, he is supervising 1 post-doctoral fellow, 9 PhD and 1 M.Sc students.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr Yam's research interests include growth and characterization of metal oxide and III-nitride low dimensional materials, graphene as well as other research areas such as photocatalytic pollutant degradation, fabrication of chemical & UV sensors and energy storage device.
