BIOGRAPHYIrfan Mohamad obtained his Master of Medicine in ORL-HNS with gold medal award in 2008. He is an Otolaryngologist with a deep interest in Head & Neck Surgery. Besides serving university as the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies & Professional Training, he teaches undergraduates, coursework & mixed mode postgraduates as well as supervising masters of science research mode candidates.
RESEARCH INTERESTSIrfan is actively involved as the principal investigator in university & national grants and contributes as a co-researcher in international multi-center trials. He has published more than 500 academic papers in both peer-reviewed journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, besides serving as a reviewer for more than 200 specialty-related articles. He also sustainably contributes to mainstream newspapers, magazines, and newsletters.
