Dr. Tan has postdoctoral experience at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and holds visiting positions at universities in the UK, China, and Iraq. His work focuses on hydro-climatic modelling and disaster resilience. He has received several recognitions, including the Malaysia Water Young Leadership Award, the Top Research Scientist Malaysia title, and the Malaysia Research Star Award.
