BIOGRAPHY
Started working as a Medical Doctor in 1999. Worked as a Psychiatrist in Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia from December 2007 until June 2012 before joining Universiti Sains Malaysia as a Medical Lecturer. Involved in research related to the field of psychiatry and psychology
RESEARCH INTERESTS
In the field of psychiatry, the research interest is in Child & Adolescent psychiatry, including learning disability and neurodevelopmental disorders. The topics of the previous and the current research are autism spectrum disorder, adolescent and high-risk behaviors, suicide in adolescents and parental distress.
