BIOGRAPHY
Dr Chua Hang Kuen is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Deputy Dean (Technology and Learning Support) at SDE, USM. He earned his PhD in sociology from La Trobe University and was affiliated with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. His expertise includes gender, sexuality, social identity, sociology of work, and sociology of health. He also specialises in instructional design and quality assurance in ODL.

Gender, sexuality, and social identity. Intersectionality and health disparities. Cultural studies. Sociology of work. Social changes. Instructional design and academic quality assurance in open and distance learning.
