BIOGRAPHYMd Azree obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester (2010). This followed both a BSc. in Building Technology (2004) and a MSc. in Building Technology (2005), respectively, from USM. Before joining USM as a lecturer, he worked with PDC Consultancy as a civil and structural engineer, completing numerous successful projects with PDC, PDC Properties, Techware, and a few more civil engineering companies from 2005–2007.
RESEARCH INTERESTSHis specialization lies in the areas of lightweight concrete technology, concrete structure assessment, building construction, and Industrialized building system (IBS). The construction industry has called for greener and more sustainable approaches to construction and building materials, which has piqued his awareness and interest to bestow his time and determination on promoting and encouraging this new approach in the construction industry.
