I worked as a physician for nine years before earning my PhD in pharmacology, a postdoctoral fellowship, and a position as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I teach pharmacology and biostatistics. I am an Associate of the Akademi Sains Malaysia (ASM). Currently I am the president of the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology RESEARCH INTERESTS My research is about the animal model of the diseases, and my research interests are to determine the efficacy of herbal medicine/compound/drugs on non-communicable diseases.
