BIOGRAPHY
Feizal Yusof graduated from USM in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 and following that worked as an Engineer in Motorola Malaysia. He went to complete his MSc in Strathclyde University and PhD in Non-linear Fracture in University of Glasgow in 2006. Currently works as a lecturer in Universiti Sains Malaysia in the School of Mechanical Engineering.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Feizal Yusof is interested in stress, damage and failure mechanisms of materials. He has developed a 3D elastic-plastic fracture mechanics method in structural integrity assessment and has also worked in material problems in fatigue, creep and in specialized electromechanical components.
