BIOGRAPHY
Dr Nik Hazlina Nik Hussain is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She obtained her medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1990 and in 1997 completed her post-graduate training in MMed (O&G) from USM. In 2006, she completed her one-year fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Royal Women’s Hospital and Melbourne In-vitro Fertilization (IVF), Australia.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Her main research areas are reproductive endocrinology and sexual health, women's health and integrative medicine. She is an active writer with more than 75 publications at the national and international levels and has authored and co-authored more than 40 books in Malay and English. She is also a creative writer and published medical novels and anthologies, and a regular newspaper columnist.
