BIOGRAPHY
I am an Oral Pathologist at Universiti Sains Malaysia, with clinical and research interests in oral lesions. My research centres on odontogenic lesions, particularly ameloblastoma, with a focus on molecular alterations such as the BRAF V600E mutation. I aim to integrate clinical, histopathological, and molecular data to improve diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes in oral oncology.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focuses on the molecular and histopathological characterisation of odontogenic lesions and oral cancers. I am interested in identifying key genetic alterations through next-generation sequencing (NGS) to gain a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. In parallel, I explore the application of digital pathology and image analysis to enhance diagnostic accuracy in the field of oral pathology.
