BIOGRAPHY
Dr Liza Sharmini Ahmad Tajudin is senior consultant ophthalmologist (glaucoma), and senior professor in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. Her main research area is clinical and molecular research on glaucoma. She is the president of Malaysian Glaucoma Society and Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology, Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology fellowship standing committee, council member and research coordinator for ASEAN Ophthalmology Society.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Her current interest is on lifestyle modification, rehabilitation module and improving quality of life of patients with glaucoma. Her long-term interest is in predicting progression of glaucoma especially in identifying the potential genetic markers in Malays.
