She is a senior lecturer at USM who focuses on poverty alleviation, sustainable development, and Islamic governance. Her research areas include entrepreneurship, rural empowerment, microfinance, and community-based programs. She collaborates with governments and NGOs on ecotourism, disaster recovery, and rural and urban community development, contributing to national efforts in achieving inclusive growth and the SDGs.
