BIOGRAPHYDr. Liyana Ghazali is an enthusiastic clinical lecturer and an orthodontist at School of Dental Sciences, USM. She graduated from Uni of Dundee (BDS) in 2011 and obtained her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Orthodontics in 2020 from Uni of Teknologi MARA. She was conferred Membership of Orthodontics (MOrth) from RCS England in 2021. Her commitment spans across education, scholarly research, and contributions to the community.
RESEARCH INTERESTSDr. Liyana has been actively involved in research. Her publications and research projects include case reports, clinical trials, and orthodontic biomaterials and radiology. She is also interested in treatment modalities in orthodontics involving lasers, mini-implants, and clinical imaging. This commitment to research reflects her determination to contribute to the advancement of orthodontic treatment and the improvement of patient care.
