BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Bok Guat Im’s current research focuses on distance education and environmental imaginaries (the social construction of nature), both explored through the lens of relational encounter grounded in Martin Buber’s “I–Thou” framework. She has published in indexed journals, led nationally funded research projects, and supervises postgraduate students researching digital education, human–environment relations, and contemporary sociological issues.
