BIOGRAPHYShuhada is currently a nursing lecturer at the School of Health Sciences. Her areas of passion include pediatrics especially child mental health, public health affairs and research. Her belief in the importance of patient preferences and values especially for children, have led her to a passion for diverse research methods, qualitative and mixed research methods.
RESEARCH INTERESTSThe central theme underpinning her research interest is valuing children's and young people's voices and promoting their participation in matters that affect their lives. Her research focuses on child participation rights, shared decision-making, as well as child and family centered care. Also, during her postgraduate studies, she was actively engaged in volunteering work and providing support to autistic children.
