I obtained my PhD in Immunology from Monash University, Melbourne, in 2014. I am now an associate professor in the Department of Immunology. As named the 'Ikon Pendidikan Negeri Kelantan' in 2019, I am passionate about education, actively promote STEM learning, and am committed to empowering rural children to believe they can succeed too. RESEARCH INTERESTS My research focuses on TNFR2-targeted immunotherapy for cancer and inflammatory diseases, including allergy and tuberculosis. My research interests include immunoregulation, nanomedicine, and natural therapeutics such as vitamin C and honey. With nearly 15 years of experience in this niche, I have supervised over 20 postgraduate students, published in high-impact journals, and hold a patent for alginate-honey nanoparticles.
