BIOGRAPHYNur Nadhirah Mohamad Zain is a researcher in analytical chemistry, green extraction technology, and advanced materials at the Department of Toxicology, IPPT, USM. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of Malaya and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (MMIC), and the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), with numerous publications, collaborations, and funded research projects.
RESEARCH INTERESTSHer research integrates analytical chemistry with health sciences, focusing on green materials such as deep eutectic and supramolecular solvents. Aligned with the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry, these materials are applied in advanced extraction techniques for monitoring carcinogens, pharmaceutical residues, and pesticides, contributing to safer food, environmental, and biological analysis.
