BIOGRAPHY
Professor Dr Shatriah specialises in Ophthalmology and subspecialises in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Has published more than 100 articles. A keen researcher in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Has been a leading speaker in strabismus especially in complicated strabismus. She is the Head, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, USM and President, College of Ophthalmologists, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Has involved in numerous research projects collaborated with Ministry of Health Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Has involved in numerous community engagement projects in refractive error, amblyopia and strabismus in primary and secondary school students in East Coast Malaysia.
