BIOGRAPHYDr Nurul Asyikin Binti Nizam Akbar is a lecturer at the Department of Haematology, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from UiTM in 2012 and Master of Pathology (Haematology) from USM in 2021. Her research interest includes red cell disorders (mainly Thalassemia/hemoglobinopathy), Molecular Medicine and haematopoietic stem cells transplantation.
