She has more than 10 years of research experience in bioinformatics, having worked at the Malaysia Genome Institute (MGI), Institute Medical Research (IMR), National Institute of Health (NIH), and Symphony Infotech. Her areas of expertise include small proteins, genomes, transcriptomes, and protein structure. Currently, her projects involve SNP detection from genome sequencing data, transcriptome analysis in cancer samples, machine learning for sORF prediction, molecular docking of target compound and secretome analysis.
