BIOGRAPHY
Mohd Zulkifli Mustafa is a neuroscientist and social entrepreneur in Meliponiculture. He is the Project Leader for the Advance National Honey Landmark (AnNaHL) project under the Ministry of Higher Education and the Vice President of the APIMONDIA Regional Asia. He has secured several patents, has trained over 4000 stingless beekeepers, the founder of a spin-off by USM named Brainey Sdn Bhd and the champion of National ArtScience Award 2022.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
His work revolves in oncolytic virus study, molecular cell death, animal modelling for diseases that include brain cancer, stroke, epilepsy and depression. He is equipped with skills in 3D live cell laser confocal microscopy technique, EEG telemetry and microdialysis implant in rodent & behavioral analyses. He also leading the growing stingless beekeeping industry by hive & in-vitro colony breeding technology and also honey authentication tech.
