To date, he has secured over RM 1 million in external research funding from both national and international agencies. He is actively engaged in experimental testing and provides technical consultancy to professionals in the construction industry and government agencies. RESEARCH INTERESTS Ir. Dr. Tze Liang Lau's research focuses on structural dynamics, with particular emphasis on earthquake and tsunami hazards and their mitigation. He has been invited to deliver lectures on these topics.
