BIOGRAPHY
I'm a public health entomologist registered under MAHPC and a MyOHUN member. I work mainly on mosquitoes studying their biology, ecology, and resistance, and exploring plant-based bioinsecticides. I’ve also worked on flies and cockroaches, focusing on their role as mechanical vectors of human parasites. More recently, I’ve started looking into blackflies and Onchocerca as part of my gradual shift into molecular parasitology and control strategies
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Vector biology, behaviour and ecology; plant-based approaches for safer vector control; insecticide resistance in vector populations (Aedes mosquitoes); public health entomology and parasitology.
