BIOGRAPHY
Yeong Yeh LEE, MD, Ph.D., FACP, FRCP, FACG, FAMM, AGAF, FASc is a Professor of Medicine and Consultant of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia. JCI Malaysia awarded him the Outstanding Young Malaysian Award in 2015 and the Top Research Scientist of Malaysia by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia in 2018. He is the current President of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My current research interests include gut microbiota, microplastics, obesity, disorders of gut-brain interactions, gastroesophageal reflux disease, neurogastroenterology and motility.
