BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Muhammad Uzair Ismail is a researcher in the sciences of visual communication and semiotics in photography, Islamic art and Malay culture. His research area is focused on art history, particularly the Persian and Turkish artistic influence in the Malay world through archaeology and material culture. He holds a PhD in Archaeology, History and Malay Culture from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a Master’s Degree (MA) in Visual Commu
