Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Zuhailawati Hussain is a Professor of Materials and Metallurgy at the School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She obtained her B.Eng (1997), MSc (1998), and PhD (2004) in Materials Engineering (Metallurgy) from USM, and joined the university as an academic staff in 2004.
