BIOGRAPHYI am a clinical psychologist, researcher, and lecturer, with a niche interest in clinical child psychology and pediatrics psychology. I have been working with children, adolescents, and their parents with psychological issues using psychotherapy, mainly cognitive behavioural and/ or person-centered approaches. I am actively researching and publishing papers and sharing information on these populations with the community.
RESEARCH INTERESTSMy research interest focuses on the clinical assessment and management of psychological problems, among children and young adults, those with chronic illnesses , cancer, disabilities, mental problems i.e depression, anxiety, suicidality. I developed localized psychological interventions to improve coping for patients and their caregivers. I supervise clinical psychology trainees and accepting research students working on related areas.
