BIOGRAPHY
My research includes fish assemblage, distribution, and limnology studies along the entire stretch of the Perak River from the Royal Belum to Bagan Datoh, including all four cascading reservoirs, and in Rompin State Park; fish assemblage of Pulau Payar and the role of marine park to the anchovy industry. I have a deep interest in biostatistics that has made me a key person in solving statistical problems.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My current research focuses on enhancing coastal fishermen's catch by identifying high-yield fishing zones and determining coastal fish breeding and nursery areas through stable isotope analysis for conservation. However, I'm still interested in freshwater studies, particularly in exploring the origins of mountain fishes and the ecology of the dark zone of impoundments.
