BIOGRAPHYChin received international grants from Toyota Foundation, Taiwan Fellowship, and CRISE, University of Oxford. He was Visiting Research Fellow at EAI, National University of Singapore, Affiliate Fellow at the IIAS, Amsterdam, Research Fellow at the Asia Research Centre, Copenhagen Business School, and Adjunct Professor at New Era University College. He is a Council Member of the Academy of Professors Malaysia.
RESEARCH INTERESTSDr. Chin is an Economic Sociologist interested in culture and entrepreneurship, family business, ethnic and business partnership, knowledge management and knowledge transfer in small and medium enterprises, Chinese business in East and Southeast Asia, industrial relations, and research methodology.
