In 2009, Mohd Faiz Hilmi became a member of the faculty at the School of Distance Education, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His primary areas of research focus on technology management, innovation, and education delivery methods such as distance learning and lifelong learning. Information technology, natural language processing, and business models based on technological innovation are a few of the other topics that pique his interest.
