Dr. Irekeola is a virologist and academic researcher with expertise in viral epidemiology, pathogenesis, antiviral discovery, and viral oncology. He is a faculty member at the School of Dental Sciences, where his work bridges fundamental virology with translational applications in infectious disease research. He has built his career around understanding viral mechanisms and transforming this knowledge into innovative solutions.
