My routine work involves molecular diagnostic services, research, teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates in various medical disciplines, and supervising research at the postgraduate level. My research interests include molecular microbiology, infectious diseases, and diagnostic innovation. RESEARCH INTERESTS My research interests in general include molecular microbiology, diagnostics, proteomics, biosensors, and natural products. My current interests are as follows: 1. Molecular approaches to fundamental studies on biomarkers of pathogens. 2. Development of sustainable diagnostics for infectious diseases (such as Shigella spp., Acinetobacter spp., etc.) 3.
