BIOGRAPHY
Received my MBBS from Adelaide University in 2001, I joined HUSM in 2004 as a trainee lecturer. Completed my Master in Surgery in 2011 and has been a surgeon and lecturer to date. My interest is in Upper GI Surgery and Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery. At present, I am the only bariatric and metabolic surgeon in East-Coast Malaysia. Sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, sleeve plus and intra-gastric balloon are among bariatric procedures I perform.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My interest is in minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, nutrition, upper GI surgery and bariatric & metabolic surgery.
