BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Hafzan Yusoff is a senior lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, USM. Her research focuses on nutrition deficiency, obesity, underweight, and lifestyle medicine. She leads a study on AI in nutrition education and has supervised projects on childhood obesity, CKD malnutrition risk, GDM, and nutrition modules for colorectal cancer. Her work links education innovation and community health.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Hafzan Yusoff’s research interests include community nutrition, nutrition deficiency diseases, obesity and underweight, lifestyle medicine, and functional foods. She is also focused on the integration of artificial intelligence in nutrition education, and the development of intervention models for vulnerable groups including children, young adults, pregnant women, and chronic disease patients.
