I teach Animal Biology, Biodiversity and Conservation-related courses at School of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia where I head its Primate Research & Conservation Lab. I have been involved in zoological research in Malaysia for almost two decades and study feasible conservation management strategies for Malaysian primates in human-modified landscapes by applying a strong conservation and community involvement component in my work.

Primatology, Wildlife Ecology, Behaviour & Conservation, One Health, Road Ecology, Connectivity. I study the anthropogenic impacts on primate behaviour, ecology, health, and survival in human-shared habitats in Malaysia and beyond.-
