BIOGRAPHY

An internationally-recognised aquaculture researcher with extensive network of collaborators worldwide on aquaculture nutrition and fish/crustacean physiology and biochemistry. Was also a Fulbright Scholar (2007) and recipient of the Australian Endeavour Award. Also possess leadership experience in academia.I am the Chief Editor of the Tropical Life Science Research journal, I am also in the Editorial Board of Reviews in Aquaculture.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Alignment of aquafeed development with the metabolism of target species, with the endeavour of promoting the growth, feed efficiency, health, and post-harvest quality of aquaculture species. Mainly nterested in the nutrition of polyunsaturated fatty acids, with a passion for translating the fundamental knowledge of metabolism in fish and crustaceans to sustainable practices.
