BIOGRAPHY
Dr. An Hong Ki is an expert in Transportation Engineering with academic roots in Korea, the U.S., and Australia. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of South Australia. After conducting research at the Korea Transport Institute and working for five years at Huai'an University in China as an associate professor, he joined Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He is currently a faculty member at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests focus on transportation engineering, particularly intersection optimization, traffic operations and management, public transportation, and grey model development for traffic analysis and prediction. Recently, my research has expanded toward intelligent and data-driven transportation systems, integrating grey model approaches to enhance traffic efficiency, mobility, and sustainable urban transportation planning.
