BIOGRAPHY
Dr Arniza began researching palm oil milling residues and empty fruit bunches, subjecting the biomass to alkaline peroxide to yield microfibres. Alongside the fibrous mass were fines and nanomaterials, which redefine waste as versatile commodities, jiving well with circularity. Efforts on harvesting nano-functional materials from biomass capitalise on alkaline peroxide systems. Nanorhizosphere for food security is her breakthrough current focus.
