BIOGRAPHY

I obtained my first degree in B.Sc. (Biotechnology) from UPM. After completing my Master study (MSc. In Industrial Biotechnology) at USM, I continued to pursue my PhD in the same field and completed the study in 2010. I joined The School of Industrial Technology as a lecturer in Bioprocess Technology Division in November 2010 as a contract staff. After graduation in March 2011, I was offered a permanent post (senior lecturer).

INTERESTS

Research Interests 1) Oligosaccharides production and purification 2) Biological treatment of biomass 3) Microbial enzyme production via solid-state fermentation 4) Production of thermoplastic starch from microalgae 5) Bioplastic/thermoplastic production 6) Secondary metabolites production from microalgae.
